Flash / Knowledge Check Content Doesn't Load Correctly

Content created with Adobe Flash, such as the Knowledge Check pages, may not load correctly. Flash is embedded as part of Internet Explorer and the cause of the error is probably in the PC onfiguration or the version level of Flash installed on the PC.

CDX GS & ARK+ PC: Activation Instructions

This article describes the process of automatically activating licenses for the version 4 or later CDX software on PCs that are stand alone or attached to a local server, i.e. not the CDX Online version. The automatic procedure requires the PC to have an internet connection for activation. If the PC is not connected to the internet then follow the steps for 'Manual Activation of CDX Software'.

CDX+ PC: License Deactivation Instructions

When you install and activate CDX ARK 4, GS 4 or later versions of the CDX PC programs the licence is locked to the specific PC. The CDX Plus PC Deactivator is a program installed on the PC that allows you to deactivate a licence so you can transfer the licence from one PC to another.

CDX ARK PC & GS PC: License Deactivation Instructions

CDX ARK 3 and GS 3 PC installed software is licensed to the specific PC that it is installed on. If you need to change PCs then you need to deactivate the old licence and reactivate the licence on the new PC. The CDX Deactivator program will allow you to do this. Note: see Article 00025 for deactivating CDX ARK 4 or GS 4 or later.

CDX+ PC: An Installed Webserver May Be Conflicting With The Program

CDX Plus uses a webserver to access it's local content, and will not function correctly if it's installed on a computer that has an exiting webserver or MySQL database running.

CDX+ PC: Proxy Server Blocking Content In The Browser

Although CDX Plus PC does not require an internet connection it is installed as a web based application on your PC or network server. When some schools use a proxy server to setup their services, this can block the CDX Plus program from being able to correctly access its local PC or server resources.

CDX+ PC: A Security Program May Be Interfering With The Program

Although CDX Plus PC doesn't need to access the internet, your security program (such as Windows OneCare, Trend Micro PC-cillin, or Norton AntiVirus) may block the program when it attempts to access it's internal webserver.
