CDX ARK PC 3.0: Installation Instructions
 
You can install and use the CDX Automotive Resource Kit 3.0 software on as many PCs as you have licenses for. You may install it on individual PCs, or on a network server.
 
CDX Light Vehicle: Cannot Find Build Data
 
Some users may encounter a 'Cannot find build data' error when trying play the CDX Light Vehicle program. This is because CDX Light Vehicle was designed to support Windows 98 and earlier operating systems, and is not compatible with later Windows NT, 2000, XP, or Vista operating systems.
 
CDX Presenter: CLX Files Won't Play Video When Run
 
The file association for .clx files is missing in some installations. Manually associating the extension does not fix this issue. This error can prevent CDX Presenter from running when a .clx file is loaded.
 
CDX Test & TestMaker: Program Can't Find the Username/Passwords File
 
CDX Test & CDX TestMaker will display an error when running the program: 'Username/Password Can't Be Found' - or similar error.
 
CDX ARK+ PC: Content Links Do Not Work
 
Some content links in CDX Automotive Resource Kit V3 do not work in a small number of installations.
 
CDX Classroom Toolkit: Activation Instructions
 
CDX Classroom Toolkit can be installed on multiple PCS. To run the software for more than 30 days you will need activate the program with the license activation code that came with your software. See SL00050 Removal of Activation.
 
CDX Content Problem: Menu Not Visible In The Browser
 
All CDX browser-based products prior to April 2004 are displayed using the Macromedia Shockwave Player (now known as Adobe Shockwave Player). If the Adobe Shockwave Player is not installed, the menu will fail to load correctly and will not be visible.
 
CDX Test & TestMaker: Can't Find The Appropriate Test Files When Students Start A Test
 
CDX Test will function correctly as an administrator, and as a teacher, and will assign tests to students without error, but will not run the test when a student takes a test and gives the following error: 'Error: User exam assignment file does not exist' - or a similar error.
