CDX ARK PC & GS PC: License Deactivation Instructions

CDX PC installed software is licensed to the specific PC that it is installed on. If you need to change PCs then you need to deactivate the old licence and reactivate the licence on the new PC. The CDX Deactivator is a program that can automatically deactivate any installed v3. CDX programs, and will restore the license to the license server automatically, allowing you to transfer this icense from one computer to another. If you are reimaging your computers you should run this deactivator program on each computer before you proceed with the reimaging of your computers.

Requirements:

You must be able to:
1. Login as the Local Administrator and have Administrator rights on the PC.
2. Have a connection to the Internet.
3. Be able to browse to http://www.cdxhosting.com

Deactivation process:

1. Login to your computer as Local Administrator and download the CDX Deactivator from the following address:
http://www.cdxhosting.com/cdxupdates/bin/downloads/CDXDeActivator.zip
2. Extract the contents of the zip file to your desktop by right-clicking on the file, choosing the 'extract all' option and directing it to the desktop.
3. Install and Run the CDX DeActivator program by double-clicking on the 'CDXDeactivator.exe' file.
4. Deactivate the program that you wish by clicking on the appropriate button.
5. Click the 'OK' button to complete this deactivation and repeat this process on each installation if required.
