CDX+ Online: Access in Bandwidth Constrained Environments

While over 80% of new CDX customers are electing to take advantage of the additional content, testing and reporting available in CDX Online CDX recognizes that in some instances, or at certain times, bandwidth into the school may be constrained, resulting in delays in accessing video.  Therefore the CDX license permits schools to use a “Proxy Server” to provide local storage of CDX videos, so that they only need to be downloaded once and thereafter can be accessed from this local hard disk. This local storage strategy can improve performance and manage bandwidth utilization and costs.
