CDX Training: Effective Implementation.
We offer training as a full day training course (6 hours), onsite, which can include instructors, IT support and administration support. This is an intensive course and includes a consulting service on fast implementation of the CDX automotive training system. This onsite training is subject to the availability of a trainer in your area.
Part 1:
- Log into CDX.
- Navigate through the CDX Plus Online courseware.
- Integrate the CDX Plus Online resources into a training program.
- Maximize the use of all resources with a specific focus on special need students.
Part 2:
- Formative and summative assessment using CDX Plus Online.
- NATEF task tracking and reporting.
- Monitoring students' activity, test results, grading and reporting.
- Manage user details and student logins.
- Effective use of the mesaging function.
Session/Topic Outlines Participants on completion of training will be able to:
- Navigate through the ARK + interface.
- Identify components of CDX programs and how they can be integrated into a training program.
- Maximise the use of all resources with a specific focus on students with special needs.
- Upload students for quizzes and tests.
- Monitor students' progress using testing, grading, & reporting functions.
Session/Topic Outlines During the session the participants will be exposed to a range of topics and activities, including the following:
Part 1:
- Distributing and managing personal student logons effectively.
- Set the menu and video selector to work best for teachers and students.
- Navigate to quizzes and tests.
- Navigate through the topic areas.
- Teaching with the CDX Instructional model.
- Search topics in the courseware.
- Share examples of how to use: Videos, Knowledge Checks, Procedures, Workshop Activity Sheets and Handout Activity Sheets.
- Integrate these resources into a lesson plan.
- Identify CDX Tasksheets.
Part 2:
- Explore formative and summative assessment online.
- Research answers for quizzes and complete practise tests.
- Track tasks and report by student, class, task area, task P1, P2, P3 and completion progress.
- Observe demonstration of student online activity, test results and grades.
Assessment The program has no formal assessment but participants will be exposed to and participate in a number of activities. The program has also been designed to include the setting of specific goals for participant’s future use of training resources, including follow up by contact between CDX and the participant approximately one month after the training has occurred.
Resources Host organisations will be required to supply the following for training sessions:
- Computer Lab with whiteboard.
- Internet Access (broadband & able to install CDX Launcher).
- Headsets for eachparticipant, projector, screen and audio.
