CDX+ PC: The Shortcut To The Program May Be Broken
The
shortcut to the CDX Plus program may be broken, and may not point to
the correct location of the CDXPlusStart.exe file. The program will
open successfully but will not load any of the content inside the CDX
Launcher window, instead showing the following error:
'MySQL db failed' - or a similar error.
To repair this problem, please do the following:
1. Login to the computer as a Local Administrator,
2. Open windows explorer and browse to your installation folder.
3. Note that this is 'C:\Program Files\CDX Global\CDX ARK Plus\' for ARK+ by default,
4. Note this should contain the 'CDXPlusStart.exe' file,
5. Recreate the shortcut to the program by right-clicking on the 'CDXPlusStart.exe' file and choose the 'Create Shortcut' option,
6. Note that this will create a shortcut in the same folder called 'Shortcut to CDXPlusStart.exe',
7. Rename the shortcut to 'CDXPlusStart.exe' and then use this file to replace the shortcut on the desktop or in your Start Menu.
