CDX+ PC: License Deactivation Instructions

When you install and activate CDX ARK 4, GS 4 or later versions of the CDX PC programs the licence is locked to the specific PC. The CDX Plus PC Deactivator is a program installed on the PC that allows you to deactivate your installed sftware, and restore the license back to your account for later use.

Please be aware that an installation should be deactivated before you reimage a computer or uninstall the program. You can transfer a license from one computer to another as follows:

Requirements:

1. Login as the Local Administrator.
2. Have a connection to the Internet.
3. Be able to browse to http://www.cdxhosting.com

Deactivation process:

1. Login as Local Administrator

Login to your computer as Local Administrator and launch the CDX Plus PC Deactivator, 'CDXPlusDeactivator.exe', located in the CDX installation folder. It can be either be accessed through the Windows Start menu - 'CDXPlusDeactivator.exe', or you can navigate to it from the Start menu: Start menu=> All programs=>CDX ARK PLus.

2. Start the Deactivation.



The CDX Plus PC Deactivator window will look like the image below. The deactivation process works in much the same way as the activation process and is completely automated. Click on the 'Deactivate Automotive Resource Kit Plus (ARK+)' button to start the auto deactivation process.

3. Deactivation in progress.



Please wait while the program deactivates your installation.

4. Complete the Deactivation.



Click the 'OK' button to complete this deactivation and repeat this process on each installation if required. If the deactivation is not successful, please contact us at support@cdxglobal.com for assistance.
